Seabrook City Council Meetings (Ongoing Production)

Roles: Technical Director, Live Stream Operator, Video & Audio Engineer, Graphics & Branding Designer

Project Overview

As part of the City of Seabrook’s initiative to provide transparent and accessible government, I oversee the live-to-tape recording and streaming of all City Council meetings. Each production is managed entirely solo, with responsibilities ranging from technical setup to live execution and final archiving. In addition to operating the broadcasts, I also designed the complete graphics and branding package, including title screens, lower-thirds, background art for multi-source layouts, and video thumbnails.

Example: The April 16, 2024 meeting demonstrates a typical production workflow—multi-camera coverage using PTZ presets, live audio mixing, branded graphics integration, and stable stream delivery.

My Contributions

  • End-to-End Live Production: Operate as a one-person control room, managing cameras, audio, graphics, and stream health throughout each meeting.
  • Camera Operation: Program and switch PTZ camera presets to provide professional coverage of council members, presenters, and audience interactions.
  • Audio Engineering: Mix multiple microphones live, ensuring clarity and balance in a government setting.
  • Graphics & Branding: Designed and implemented all visual elements:
    • Title screen and thumbnail templates
    • Pre-stream slides
    • Branded lower-thirds style
    • Background art for super source layouts
  • Stream Oversight: Monitor and maintain live stream stability, ensuring a reliable broadcast for residents.
  • Archiving: Manage recordings for official records and long-term accessibility.
